In short: you're responsible for what goes on your invoices and for filing them correctly; we're responsible for keeping the Service running and your data safe. Your company owns its records, the company's owner decides who can see them, and you should keep your own exports for as long as tax law asks you to.

This User Agreement is between you and Shreyansh Jain ("we", "us"), who operates Invoice Partner. It applies when you create an account, create a company, or accept an invitation to join one, and sits alongside the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If they conflict on how an account or company works, this agreement wins.

1. Your account

2. Companies, owners and members

3. GST compliance is yours

Invoice Partner helps you prepare documents; it does not file anything for you or act as your tax adviser or GST Suvidha Provider. In particular:

4. Accuracy of what you enter

Calculations are only as good as the masters and lines they start from. Check GSTINs, addresses, state codes, rates and quantities before you issue a document. Once issued, a document is frozen so it matches what you sent your customer; correct it with a credit or debit note, or cancel it where the law allows, rather than asking us to change it.

5. Your customers' data

When you add customers, their contact people, addresses and phone or email details, you are the one collecting that information, and we process it for you. You confirm that you have a lawful reason to hold it and to put it on invoices, and that you will handle your customers' privacy requests. We will process it only to provide the Service, keep it confidential, protect it as described in the Privacy Policy, and help you answer requests about it.

6. Who owns the data

Records entered into a company — masters, documents, payments and uploaded portal details — belong to that company. Your own account details belong to you. You give us permission to store, process, back up and display that data only as needed to run the Service for you, and for no other purpose. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or look at it except to provide support you ask for, to keep the Service secure, or when the law requires us to.

7. Exports and your own records

Lists and reports can be exported to Excel, and every document can be downloaded as a PDF. Indian law requires businesses to keep invoices and accounts for a number of years. Invoice Partner is not a statutory archive: keep your own exports and backups for as long as the law requires you to, and take one before deleting a company or account.

8. Fees

Invoice Partner is currently free to use. If we introduce paid plans, we will tell owners at least 30 days in advance and explain what will change. Nothing will be charged without your agreement, and you will be able to export your data before deciding.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available and your data backed up, but there may be downtime for maintenance, outages at our providers, or problems we didn't foresee. We may add, change or remove features — for example, to keep up with new GST rules or portal formats. If we plan to shut the Service down, we will give owners at least 60 days' notice to export their data.

11. Notices

We send notices to the email address on your account, or show them in the app. Send notices to us at shreyansh@shrynshjn.com.

12. General

This agreement is governed by the laws of India, and disputes are handled as set out in the Terms of Use. We may update this agreement; the date at the top shows the latest version, and we will tell owners about significant changes before they take effect. If any part of it is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. You may not transfer this agreement without our consent; we may transfer it to whoever takes over the Service, and will tell you if we do.
